Manifesto

We believe that organisations have a responsibility to offer information technology solutions and services that have a positive impact on people, both technology users and workers, and the planet.

It was through this common ideology that we created FairTEC, a trade association committed to making ethical information technology (IT). We are working together to offer credible and more ethical alternatives to Big tech in order to create a paradigm shift to make fair and ethical technology the norm.

We work together to collaboratively offer end users the full solutions and services that FairTEC can offer.

We work together to ensure that FairTEC promotes solutions and services that incorporate the key principles of an ethical and fair economy. This includes sustainability, digital freedom, digital sovereignty and good labor conditions.

We collaborate and use our collective voices to raise awareness on the societal, personal and environmental topics behind digital technology.

We work together to positively influence the societal, individual and environmental impacts of any national or European legislation relating to digital technology.

We remain open to other responsible actors within the ethical IT industry to join FairTEC.
